FINDING HIDDEN DEALS - BUY FOR LESS SUPER GUIDE !!!
Winning the auctions that don't get the bidsSometimes the best deals to be had on eBay are found not by searching for what you want, but by searching for what someone else thinks they've got. If the previous sentence made you do a double-take, don't worry, the concept is actually simple, if not immediately obvious. The best deals to be had on eBay occur when an auction gets many fewer bids than it deserves. For the most part, this happens for three reasons: The seller has timed their listing poorly The seller has misidentified their item The seller has misspelled the name of their item
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD .... ON THE OUTSIDE!!
There is a place in the world for quality gold electroplated jewellery as well as solid gold jewellery .
How do I know if my gold ring is REAL Gold
It has come to our attention that there are quite a few eBay sellers claiming that their 10KT rings are genuine solid gold . We would advise extreme caution when purchasing many of these items. They have 10k hallmarking, however, many are not as they claim to be. We purchased a few of these purported 10KT solid gold rings and had them tested. You guessed it, FAKE.Gold Plated at best and the diamonds and gems are glass. Most , if not all, originate from China where almost anything goes. Quite a few Respected Australian Jewellers are stating that their 10KT rings are Genuine. We advise strongly that you take these to your local rusted Jeweller for authenticity. We do not advise not bidding and winning them as they may be genuine and we all love a bargain. Here is a copy of an email we received from an eBayer who wanted to sell us 10KT gold rings name and paypal address of the supplier has been deleted for legal reasons
The difference between wall-hangers
This guide will teach you how to tell the difference between a wall-hangerand a functional sword. There is nothing wrong with owning awall-hanger if all you intend to do is display it (except that it'd beuseless if you were to use it against a home intruder!). However, if youare anything like me and admire swords, a fully functional sword isjust much more satisfying to own and display, as well as giving you morebragging rights when guests come over! Unless you persuadethe seller using Jedi mind tricks, conducting a few tests to determineits durability is out of the question.Quite often, a sword will belabeled as "battle ready" and then continue to list stainless steel asits type of metal. I will show you why this is undesirable and otherthings to look out for.Fancy Schmancy DesignsIfyour sword is based on a movie, or has fancy decorations such as dragonhilts/guards, or has more colours than the rainbow, chances are, it isintended for display only. This is not always the case of course (butmore often than not, it usually is).The TangAchain is only as strong as its weakest link and the same applies to asword. The part of the blade that is hidden in the hilt is called thetang. The part where the blade joins the tang is usually the weakestpart of the sword. The tang on a decorative piece is usually a"rat tail tang" which means the tang is only a thin metal rod or a"stub tang" which has a short piece of metal under the hilt. Look forswords with a "full tang". What this means is that the hilt is shapedaround the tang making it much more solid (plus it won't turn yoursword into some kind of rocket launcher when you swing it).The Type of SteelStainlesssteel is great if all you want is an ornamental show piece as they donot require much maintenance (I wish my girlfriend didn't require somuch maintenance...maybe I shouldn't have said that...). Stainlesssteel is fine for knives but past a certain length, they start becomingbrittle.A much better choice is carbon steel. Look for carbonsteel that has been tempered and heat treated and has a carbon steel rating of 1045or better. This rating shows you how much carbon is in the metal. Thedownside of carbon steel is that it will require a lot of tender lovingcare by its owner. A thin coat of oil should be applied to the blade atall times or it will rust quite easily. Inshort, look for keywords such as high carbon steel, tempered, handforged (as opposed to mass produced machine made) and full tang.Ifyou found this guide useful, please send me a donation as I am apoor university student and this hobby is quite draining on my poorwallet. Haha I am only joking (did I trick you?), if you really did findthis guide useful and you know of someone that would benefit from thisguide, please send him/her the location of this guide. A positiverating (click below) wouldn't hurt either! Thanks for reading!
Australian Muscle Car Magazine -Collecting Issues 1-10
Australian Muscle Car - Collecting the History......Issues 1-10IntroductionThis guide is intended to be useful to both the novice and the serious collector of the Australian Muscle Car series of magazines. The series was introduced a few years ago to fulfil the needs of a community becoming increasingly nostalgic about the history of the automobile in this country, cheifly with the legend that was the muscle car era. The magazine was not expected to take off quite so well as it did and the publishers were initially suprised at the interest generated by the magazine. This is why the first four issues were later reprinted - and clearly marked as reprints in the bottom LH corner -
Espresso Coffee maker recipes for Cappuccino, etc.
The espresso is the basis of a large number of popular drinks, and with the introduction and vast growth of domestic coffee machines to the Australian market, many of us have had to learn to be home baristas very quickly.
1p Ebooks - A Buyer's Guide To Penny E-books
What are penny ebooks?A quick search on eBay for "ebook"with the price limited to one penny will show hundreds of listings. Most, if not all of these listings offer ebooks that claim to be ableto change your life dramatically. The majority offer unlimited wealth, usually using eBay or the web, whilst plenty of others offer advice onhow to improve your lifestyle, or break a bad habit such as smoking orovereating. Most people's initial reaction to these is either "Wow, that's great - only 1p" or "What's the scam?"This guide is intended to explain exactly how penny ebooks work, whypeople sell them, and why you as a buyer might, or might not want tobuy one.How can people sell them so cheap?A quick look at the eBay fees pages will reveal an interesting point...Mostpenny ebooks are listed as "Buy It Now" (BIN) items. eBay's basiclisting fee for a BIN priced at 1p is 15p. In order to attractattention, almost all listings use the gallery feature, so that apicture is displayed in the listings next to their item. The eBay feefor this is another 15p.Adding these together shows that forevery 1p that the seller gains by selling a penny ebook, they have topay 30p in fees to eBay! In other words, every sale of a penny ebookcosts them 29p!If these sellers are here to make money (a safeassumption), then why are they selling something that loses them 29pevery time someone buys? Why do people sell them?It shouldnot come as any surprise to discover that the purpose of selling pennyebooks is not to make money on the books. If the ebooks were merelywhat they claim to be, no-one would sell them. There are basically twotypes of people selling penny ebooks:Type A - The feedback builderThesimple reason is that it is a quick way to build your feedback. Someonewho is just starting selling on eBay will have a low feedback thatmight discourage buyers. In order to build feedback quickly, they sellpenny ebooks. They consider the 49p cost per feedback a worthwhileinvestment. These type of sellers are fairly easy to spot as thedescription for their ebooks will include some comment like "Feedback must be left" or similar. Beware of listings like this.Furthermore, feedback builders often request that you make only one purchase perperson. This is because your feedback score only shows the number ofunique eBayers that have left feedback for you. Multiple feedbacks fromone other eBayer do not give a higher feedback rating, so are notwanted by these sellers. On the contrary, if they had multiplepurchases from the same buyer, it would cost them a lot more money forthe one feedback point that would be shown. So, are these typesof sellers best avoided, or is there some benefit to the buyer? Theanswer really depends on the nature of the ebook. For the buyer, youare taking a very low risk, and receiving a feedback point in return. That alone could be worth 1p, even if the ebook is not. However, it isimportant to note that the modern eBay user is not as naive as theyused to be. People do not merely look at the total feedback score, theywill often have a quick scan through your recent sales and purchaseswhen assessing you. If someone sees that a lot of your recenttransactions were for penny ebooks, they will be suspicious of yourfeedback rating. So whilst one or two penny ebooks can add to yourfeedback, more than that could damage your overall reputation.Type B - The backend marketeerThesecond, and more common type of penny ebook seller has an altogetherdifferent plan in mind. This can be very beneficial to you, orsomething you will want to avoid, depending on your interest in thesubject of the ebook.A very successful marketing technique onthe web is to offer free information. Contrary to popular opinion, fewpeople use the web with the express intention of making a purchase.Other than those who go online to check their e-mail, the majority useit for gathering information. The job of an Internet marketeer is toconvince the information gatherer to buy. The best way to do that is tooffer them exactly what they wanted in the first place - information -and offer it free.Enter the free ebook. Many web sites offer afree ebook on a subject related to their product line. Some will offerthis as a no-strings download, the more informed ones will ask for yourname and e-mail address before offering the download. This enables themto add you to their mailing list, where they can subtly convince you tobecome a customer. And what of the free ebook? Simple - it's aclever sales device. It will be packed full of relevant information, exactly aimed at their target audience, and will give you helpfuladvice about what products to buy to fulfil your wishes. Obviously, theproducts they recommend just happen to be ones they sell on their website, but as they have now gained your confidence by offering thevaluable free information in the ebook, you don't mind being nudgedgently towards their products. This is where they make their money.Analternative option is for people who do not have their own product lineto sell, but who are affiliates for other people's web sites. Asaffiliates, they receive a commission for every sale that they cause. So if the reader of an ebook clicks a link in the book, and ends up ona web site for which the ebook's author is an affiliate, the authorwill be paid a commission when the reader buys something.Back to eBayTakethe same marketing principle and apply it to eBay, and you end up withthe 1p ebook. You can't give things away for nothing on eBay, so thenext best thing is to offer it for the lowest price. Enter the pennyebook. Someone with an eBay shop, or even an external e-commerce website writes or buys the rights to an ebook, and makes sure that thebook contains loads of links to their product pages. They sell the bookfor 1p on eBay, and they have a stream of targeted potential customerslooking at their products. This is powerful advertising.Afterreading this, you might think that penny ebooks are of no value to thebuyer, and are actually something to be avoided. Before jumping tohasty conclusions, it's worth looking a little further...What are the benefits to the buyer?Ifyou have a specific interest in a subject, whether personal orprofessional, you will always be on the lookout for good sources ofinformation about that subject. More than that, you will always beinterested in seeing quality products and finding good deals. If so,why not buy an ebook on the subject? OK, so the author is going to tryand steer you towards his/her products, but adverts in special interestmagazines do exactly the same thing and no-one complains about them.Thebenefits to the buyer can be quite significant. You are given the(hopefully) useful information contained in the ebook. If thatinformation is no good, then the author will already have failed inhis/her task of guiding you towards their products, so it is verylikely that the information will be worth the 1p. Furthermore, you areoffered targeted information about products and services relevant toyour interest area. Again, this is little different from reading anadvertising feature in a special interest magazine. What are the potential problems?Generally, there are few problems for the informed buyer when it comes to ebooks. You always run the risk that the ebook is simply no good, but when youconsider that it only cost you 1p, this is a minor consideration.Abigger problem comes from unscrupulous ebook sellers. Whenever you makea purchase on eBay, the buyer has access to your registered name ande-mail address. Although it is strictly against eBay policy, somesellers will add your name and e-mail address to their mailing list, and you will start receiving their marketing messages. This is notusually a major problem, as the ones with any sense will remove youfrom the list as soon as you ask them to, as they will be suspendedfrom eBay if they are reported to be in violation of eBay policies. So, should I buy one or not?Hopefullyafter reading this guide, you will see that there can be benefits tobuying penny ebooks, although there can also be pitfalls. As long asyou do not buy too many, and you are a little careful in what you buyand how you judge the information and recommendations contained in thebook, you could find these books to be a valuable source of information. If you found this guide helpful, please vote YES below and help others see it. How to Spot a LOUIS VUITTON WALLET....FAKE!!!!
First and foremost if your item comes packaged like this:It's most likely going to be a FAKE!!You're thinking...How would I know???Well let me tell you, that picture you see above, that is a wallet I bought while I was overseas. I know for a fact that my purchase was a fake...BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT FOR LESS THAN AUD$5!!!!!My FAKE purchase has all the supposed REAL features of an authentic Louis Vuitton wallet, including:the buttons have the Louis Vuitton engraved in itit says MADE IN FRANCE it came with a so-called authentic Louis Vuitton cardthe zipper on the coin purse even has the LV logo on itthe Louis Vuitton boxthe LV cloth bag (which is of such poor quality, with the crappy white stitching on the edges)So please before you go all out and end up paying lots of $$$$ and all you end up is a FAKE, do your research. Ask the seller questions regarding the model name, number, etc, ask for more features of the smaller details, like the zipper logo and alike. Also check the sellers feedback, FEEDBACK is important on Ebay. If the seller has low feedback (less than 50) well thats something to consider. Usually scammers have low feedback, they sell sell sell, until someone leaves them bad feedback, then just just open a new Ebay account and start all over again.Check the Louis Vuitton website, go to an acutal Louis Vuitton store. If the item looks like a bargain and looks too good to be true, IT PROBABLY IS (I mean who would sell off an authentic LV wallet for such a small price, or claim that its an unwanted gift)Stop those cheaters on Ebay trying to make a business out of ripping us off

bose speakers, an ebay guide to buying bose
Bose is definatley one of the best known brand names of speakers in the world, second hand Bose products tend to attract extremely high prices because people believe they are buying a flagship product. Are they really getting what they pay for ?There are plenty of very well known brand name speaker brands for sale on ebay and some will always hold a perceived value purely because of the badge on the front of the speakers, but when are you buying something which has been well and truly outdated
Using Your Fetal Doppler
There is no better sound than the sound of your baby's heartbeat from the womb. Purchasing a Fetal Doppler can be a great way for you and your family (especially soon-to-be siblings) to bond with your baby. There are many sounds that can be heard with a Fetal Doppler including kicks, hiccups and, of course, your baby's heartbeat. A fetal heartbeat can be heard with a fetal Doppler as early as 8-10 weeks. Follow the tips below to get the most out of your Doppler. Always start with a full bladder, especially in the early weeks (weeks 8-14). This will help to bring your uterus up out of your pelvic cavity Place a small (quarter-sized) amount of gel on your abdomen. Start in the middle at the pubic bone if you are in the first trimester, and up by your belly button if you are more than 20 weeks along. Place the probe directly on top of the gel and turn the unit on. Move the probe in a VERY SLOW circular motion moving side to side across your abdomen. If your fetal Doppler has an LCD heart-rate readout, do not try to read the display until you can hear your baby's heartbeat. Your heart beats at about 60-80 beats per minute, the fetus has a heart-rate between 120-180. Not hearing the heartbeat before 12-14 weeks is not a sign that anything is wrong with your baby or your pregnancy. Hearing the heartbeat as early as 10 weeks isn't always possible and how early a fetal heartbeat can be heard will depend largely on a number of factors including: Type of Doppler being used: Be sure that your Doppler is in fact a 'Fetal Doppler' and not a prenatal listener. Some of the products available do not utilize the same technology as a fetal Doppler and cannot detect a fetal heartbeat until after 30 weeks. Also, different types of Fetal Dopplers vary with regards to sensitivity and durability. Not all Fetal Dopplers are created equally. The size and shape of the mother: Taller women and women who are overweight may have a more difficult time hearing the heartbeat in the early weeks. However, by 12-14 weeks, a Doppler should be able to pick up a heartbeat in women of all shapes and sizes. Inaccurate due date: Sometimes it is difficult to determine a due date. If your due date is off by a week or more, you may be expecting to hear the heartbeat earlier than would be possible. Misinformation: A fetal heart will begin to beat at around 5-6 weeks' gestation. Although an ultrasound machine will be able to detect this by about 6 weeks, a fetal Doppler cannot detect a heartbeat until closer to 8-10 weeks. An ultrasound machine uses very powerful probes (5-10 Mhz) at a much higher output level (up to 720 Mw/cm2) whereas a fetal Doppler only uses a 2-3 Mhz probe at a much lower level of less than 20 mw/cm2. For this reason, fetal Dopplers are unable to detect a heartbeat before 8 weeks and usually not before 10-12 weeks. Dont be misled. If someone says she heard her baby's heartbeat at 6 weeks, she is probably referring to an ultrasound scan.
