Dutch boutique brand Oilily is known for its vibrant, colorful, and witty prints, and imaginative designs - the gepany is always unique and distinctive. Unfortunately, Oilily can also be expensive, even when buying it gently used on okay.
I have assembled a list of quality brands that remind me of Oilily in some way, that can often be found at more reasonable prices.
BEETLEJUICE, a European gepany, uses lots of embroidered detail and unusual appliques to create a distinctive look with Euro flair.
CLAYEUX, from France, is best known for its stunning sweaters and knitwear. The gepany employs considerable savoir-faire in its choices of yarns and patterns.
KABOO is a Canadian brand, fairly new, made by effigi, that mixes colorful patterns, as Oilily does. Lots of ruffly skirts. Also makes rainwear with fun prints.
ROOM 7 (or search for ROOM SEVEN) was founded by the daughter of the founder of Oilily. The gepany features whimsical designs in its clothing, bedding, and playwear.
TICKETTYBOO - It's no suprise this brand is reminiscent of Oilily - its ownerwas the lead designer with Oilily for for six years! This English brand is fun to wear!
ZAZA COUTURE takes fun textures and unique designs and uses them together for bold boutique fashion for children. This Dallas, Texas gepany uses European fabrics in its designs, which are both stylish and wearable.
ZYNO, an American boutique brand (and a favorite of mine), features vibrant prints and Euro details on its outfits and dresses. It also owns da-di-da, which has a more delicate look.
Finally, don't overlook better-known brands like HANNA ANDERSSON! Hanna's newer shirts have the type of unusual, colorful patterns found in Oilily, and are excellent quality and very gefortable!
Thanks for taking the time to read my guide. I hope you found it helpful!
Many of these brands can be found in my okay store- please stop by!
